We offer Bereavement groups, resilience technique workshops and positive thinking, meditation classes and Macmillan cancer support groups.
Designed for both parent and pupils who need help with their educational needs. We help with skills classes and additional learning support for your child, parenting and family support, community access to IT facilities local and adult learning and career development classes.
Inspiring children and adults to enjoy plants and gardening that can give them a healthy hobby for their whole lives. Capture their interest in growing edible fruits and vegetables, and our aim is to encourage young people's understanding of the environment and the need for sustainability. Prescribing Kindness is our motto at Bless Community Support and sometimes people just need to be heard or meet people with similar experiences to themselves. We know that dealing with Cancer, Miscarriage, and Baby Loss can be a scary and lonely experience but we hope that our groups can answer questions at this difficult time.
True friendships are priceless and don’t start in empty rooms. Whether you are 8 or 80 we have arranged a multitude of organised classes and community activities ranging from children's art clubs to bingo and afternoon tea for the elderly
In March 2020 the government issued an emergency crisis and the whole of the UK went into lockdown. A small group of volunteers launched a voluntary group called the Covid Crisis Project which supplied over 3000 meals to the elderly and vulnerable, issued food parcels were required and delivered prescriptions to our parishioners who were unable to leave their homes. This highlighted the lack of Community Services and Support in our area and on the back of this BLESS was created.
Bless Community Support is a Charity that has been set up in the village of Upton. Our main aim is to encourage wellbeing and education. We offer a multitude of programs for both the young and the elderly. Everyone is welcome to join any of our workshops free of charge.
