What a great day at the Alzheimer’s Society Roadshow to meet and be surrounded by people that genuinely make a difference. We were thrilled to have been asked today to talk about what we do at Bless. It’s days like today where we realise how important small communities are. We may only hire a room in the local library, but we make a MASSIVE difference to the people of our community!!
Our Dementia Friendly group is full of kindness and care. We love to connect with our members, so if that’s bringing a taste of Barbados to Mac with his favourite song which got him up and singing, or a piece of Texas to George so he can get up and put everyone to shame with his line dancing, then we will absolutely do so!!
These little things are what make us who we are. Sadly some may forget but we won’t. Bless is community and nothing will ever change that!
Bless Community Support is a charity that has been set up in the village of Upton. Our main aim is to encourage wellbeing and Education. Everyone is welcome to join any of our workshops free of charge.
