Dementia Action Week

It was Dementia Action Week between the 15th and 21st of May.

Our weekly Memory Friendship Groups offer safe and supportive spaces for people with Dementia, Alzheimer's and their carers.

As part of our programme, we are committed to creating awareness within our community to help with understanding the needs of people with dementia, signposting, providing support to those within our community who need help and being a warm, friendly group offering regular sessions.

Our weekly sessions include exercise and movement, singing and dancing, crafts and games, and refreshments.

Come join us weekly on Mondays at Upton Village Hall, Pontefract between 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm and fortnightly on a Friday at Hemsworth, Pontefract between 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm. Call to discuss and book a space.
