Showcasing Our Progress: Macmillan Cancer Support Visit Hemsworth Venue

Our journey with Macmillan Cancer Support has been a remarkable one, stretching back several years and witnessing a series of fruitful collaborations and community-building initiatives. From the inception of our afternoon tea and quiz events in Upton in April 2021 to the launch of our Crafting and Company sessions in Hemsworth, Macmillan’s unwavering support has been a welcome one.

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Ian and Frazer from Macmillan at our Hemsworth venue. Their visit was a golden opportunity to showcase the significant strides we've made since their last visit. It was heartening to see their genuine enthusiasm as we walked them through the progress and growth of our community-focused programme.

Thanks to the support from Macmillan and their dedicated team, we’ve been able to create a robust platform that has allowed our groups to flourish and better serve our community. The partnership has truly gone from strength to strength, and their recent visit only reinforced our shared commitment to community welfare.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue our collaboration with Macmillan as we plan our Autumn/Winter 2024 projects. We are confident we will achieve even greater heights and continue to positively impact the lives of those in our community.
